Veerle was a nurse until May 1991.
Then she was stricken with a severe immune disease.
After a long rehabilitation process, she came into contact with the De Vinken Day Center.
Here one can become artistically skilled in etching, modeling, painting or making linocuts in a peaceful environment.
Veerle focuses mainly on etchings and linocuts. Recently, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary, there was a very nice exhibition in the Maagdenhuis.

Speciality: lino and engravings.
