General information

The Beta Montecarlo was finally unveiled at the 45th Geneva Salon International de l'Auto in March 1975. First Series cars (from 1975 to 1978) were badged as Lancia Beta Montecarlo. They were named "Montecarlo", written as one word.

With a double cam, 1995cc four-cylinder engine, 120hp was strong at 6,000rpm. Lancia announced a top speed of over 190km / h and an acceleration from 0 to 100km / h in 9.3 sec. Typical of this first version are the side wings on each side of the hood and the "8.8Jx13" alloy wheels, unique to this version. The interior is equipped with vinyl textile as standard, the upholstery was optionally available in fabric. In 1978 the production of the first Lancia Montecarlo series was stopped after 2,053 units.

About this car
Lancia Monte-Carlo 1975
This Lancia Monte-Carlo sports car is part of the first production year and first series of just over 2,000 copies and comes from Bari in southern Italy from the first owner. Given the high cost price that was asked for this car at the time, the "Montecarlo" was not very widespread in Belgium and very rare on our roads (especially in its first series). This Montecarlo has been inspected and registered without any comment.

This Lancia Montecarlo can be viewed by appointment at Art & Classics.
